STILL’s service is the cream of the crop!

When you’ve been using equipment for 15 years and it’s travelled the equivalent of round the world, twice, it’s pretty clear it’s built to last! So, when leading producer of salad crops, PDM Produce wanted to switch to a more sustainable solution, they turned to the manufacturer of their existing fleet, STILL Materials Handling for guidance.

PDM produce are a family-run business supplying the UK’s supermarkets with salad from their 3,800 acre site in Shropshire. Reliability and service are extremely important when you’re responsible for feeding the nation and they pride themselves on providing a good customer service which can only be achieved by having the right equipment at the right place, every day.

Henrik Norgaard, Warehouse & Transport Manager at PDM Produce commented, “We are a fast-moving warehouse, and any breakdowns lead to shortages or late deliveries into our customers. STILL’s service is the best on the market, with dedicated engineers and a service desk that can be reached easily.”

Excellent customer service is a subject very close to STILL UK’s heart, whose customers recently rated their team of engineers an impressive 9 out of 10 in a recent survey. STILL UK’s Service and Operations Director, Lauren Fletcher, added: “Our customer feedback is something we are extremely proud of.”

As a result of the excellent service received from STILL and the proven reliability of their product, PDM Produce have just replaced their entire gas-powered fleet of counterbalance trucks with electric-powered RX20’s and RX60’s fitted with STILL’s fleet management system, which will enable PDM Produce to monitor truck usage.

Henrik continued “We pride ourselves on our good customer service and that can only be achieved by having the right equipment at the right place, every day. The service you get from STILL is outstanding, right from sales to delivering the products with an open and clear communication.”
